Sea otters have been getting sicker and sicker, due to human pollution. Oil spills are a huge factor in diminishing the population. Recently it has been said that California sea otters have been getting very ill. The cause is believed to be harmful bacteria that is being contaminated from garbage and cat feces. Researchers have began to try and find the link to the infected cats to figure out where the bacteria is stemmed from.
Without your help research cannot be funded in order to save these little guys. Please consider giving whatever you can to help make sure this species does not go extinct.
